Philippine boxing superhero Manny Pacquiao absolutely had a blast as he joined thousands of devotees, tourists and revelers in the Sinulog celebration the other night. And in doing so, the world's pound-for-pound king has literally scaled new heights beyond the squared arena.

As courageous and dauntless he is inside the ring, Pacquiao had the time of his life enjoying the sky-rise adventure at the 40-storey Cebu Crown Regency Hotel, which has recently been named as the tallest hotel tower in the country.

"Gikabuhi ko. Lingaw kaayo," said a smiling Pacquiao after completing the spine-chilling Sky Walk experience with utmost convenience at the 37th floor.

Prior to that, Pacquiao dazzled a small throng of fans as he rode on the Edge Coaster at the 39th level. At every turn highlighted by an 45-degree twist that will surely thrill you to the bones, the crowd cheered as the Pacman navigated through it without fright. He was even grinning ear-to-ear as he watched down the picturesque view of the entire metropolis while practically hanging in the air.

Pacquiao also went through the Vertex Observatory and the Sky Bar, both at the 38th level, manifesting his love for the extreme and adrenaline-inducing action.

Pacquiao was all smiles as he kicked off what had been a grand, memorable night watching the fireworks display at the 40th floor. His eyes were sparkling as he stared at the riot of colors that lit up Cebu's skyline.

Yesterday, Pacquiao went to the Basilica Minore del Sto. Ni?o to pray and pay homage to Cebu's beloved patron Senor Sto. Ni?o. He was with Cebu First District Rep. Eduardo "Eddiegul" R. Gullas, confidant Rex "Wakee" Salud, and a coterie of friends.
