Los Angeles, CA: Today (Saturday, LA Time) was a nice day to be outside and enjoy a clean crisp fall day in the city. And that is exactly what the faithful Pacquiao fans did.

Dozens of them gathered at the parking lot of the Wildcard Gym as early as 1:30 PM to get a glimpse of the champ as he walked up the stairs to the Wildcard Gym.
The fans entertained themselves as they waited under the sun, occasionally chanting the name of Freddie Roach in the hopes that he may let them all in the gym.
?Freddie, Freddie, Freddie? they chanted to the amazement of the media who gathered to cover the day?s event.

The fans grew in number as the day went on and at about 2:00 PM, the official ?Pacquiao Team Bus? pulled in behind the gym parking lot in full view of the crowd waiting for Pacquiao.

Needless to say, they had a ball taking photos near the bus.

When the champ finally emerged from the gym at about 3:30 PM to walk down to the Thai restaurant next door, almost a hundred were waiting for a chance to get a photo op or an autograph.

And, that does not count the few lucky souls that got into the gym while Pacquiao was at the tail end of his training.

Pacquiao of course spent a few minutes signing photos, gloves and anything else with his image. He also posed for photos.

Today, Pacquiao sparred a meager 8 rounds, four with Cordova and another four with Holloway. Nothing spectacular- just the same old routine.

Pacquiao seem to be enjoying the day and was heard to say that he was really having a ball training for this fight. In fact, while taking breaks between his shadow boxing routine, he playfully took the microphone from the GMA TV people and even recorded a short intro for the stations? program. ? Ito po si Manny Pacquiao, coming from the Wildcard Gym nag-hahanda para sa laban against Oscar de la Hoya?

The joke was the GMA anchors should start watching out or they will lose their job for Pacquiao did not do too bad doing their job.

Again, the Pinoy media was there in full force and more and more of the usual Pacquiao crowd are popping up in the gym.
