All eyes on Magpily siblings.
Francois Marie Magpily will spearhead DLSU Green Archers Women’s Chess Team, Francis Apollo Magpily will anchor the
UP Maroon Men’s Chess Team, Francine Elaine Magpily will be the frontliner of Ateneo Blue Eagles Women’s Chess Team while Franiel Angela Magpily is a part of FEU Tamaraw Women’s Chess Team.
The Magpily siblings are playing under the watchful eye of Chess Coach Father Francis Burt Magpily and Auntie WIM Bernadette Galas, a Former DLSU Rookie of the Year 2 time MVP and 3 time Champion.
Meanwhile, The University Athletic Association of the Philippines has announced the postponement of the chess tournament games scheduled for Saturday, September 27, due to expected inclement weather to be caused by Severe Tropical Storm "Opong".
The games on Sunday, September 28, will proceed as scheduled and will be held at Adamson University, San Marcelino Street, Manila .-Marlon Bernardino-
