Unbeaten Light Flyweight David Cardenas Headlines "Fight Night in San Antonio" at R&J Music Pavilion in San Antonio on May 10

SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 2, 2025) — Triple A Promotions, in association with South Park Boxing Academy, is proud to announce an action-packed night of professional boxing titled "San Antonio Fight Night" on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the R&J Music Pavilion in San Antonio, Texas. The event will showcase some of the region’s most exciting rising talent and will be streamed live on KSAT Plus and KSAT.com.

Headlining the card will be San Antonio’s own undefeated light flyweight prospect David Cardenas (8-0, 6 KOs), who returns to action in front of his hometown crowd to take on veteran Josue Morales (32-18-4, 13 KOs) of Houston in a scheduled 6-round bout. Cardenas, a fan favorite and South Park Boxing Academy standout, looks to continue his unbeaten streak and make a statement against the experienced Morales, who has shared the ring with several world-class opponents.

In the co-featured attraction, two San Antonio fighters will go to war as Joshua Moreno (5-0, 2 KOs) will step into the ring in a 4-round welterweight contest against Bryan Springs (3-14-3, 1 KO). Moreno, known for his all-action style and high ring I Q, aims to keep his perfect record intact and build momentum in front of a passionate local crowd.

Also, on the card representing San Antonio are two undefeated rising starts as Rick Nunez Jr. (5-0, 3 KOs) will take on Warren Stewart of Austin, TX, in a 4-round welterweight bout, and Javier Fernandez (17-0, 8 KOs) will battle Fernando Veldez, from Salta, Argentina, in a scheduled 6-round fight.

The evening promises high-energy bouts and local pride, blending competitive matchups with community spirit. The R&J Music Pavilion, one of San Antonio’s most vibrant event spaces, will provide the backdrop for an unforgettable night of boxing.

Tickets priced $35 (General Admission), $65 (Table seating $650-10seats) are on sale now and can be purchased by calling (210) 605-8933. The R&J Music Pavilion is located at 18086 Pleasanton Rd, San Antonio, TX 78221. Doors open at 6:00 pm, and the first bout is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm.
