Triple world-ranked Jayson Vayson (11-1-1, 6 KO’s) is all set to CLASH hard against unbeaten Japanese Takeru Inoue (4-0, 2 KO’s) for the WBO ASIA PACIFIC 108-Lbs Title on Sunday, April 21, at the Sumiyoshi Ward Center in Osaka, Japan, a complicated and crucial mission for the Filipino.

Managed by Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Promotions, the 25-year-old Vayson will risk his WBO #9 world-ranking against the skilled Takeru Inoue‘ in Takeru’s own hometown of Osaka.

The Agusan del Sur native is also putting on the line of fire his IBF #3, as well as his WBA #11 rankings, which were not easy for him to earn.

Importantly, the fight is also Jayson Vayson’s first title defense of the WBO Asia Pacific title that he claimed by knocking out in two frames Ryuya Yamanaka (19-4, 6 KO’s) last December in Kobe, Japan.

Could Jayson Vayson stop Takeru Inoue too? Could he pull off another difficult win in the Land of the Rising Sun, inching closer to a world title battle in the hot light flyweight division?

Or will the hometown fighter Takeru Inoue – who is also 25-year-old – be the one to claim victory over the more-experienced Pinoy fighter, taking from him his belt and world-rankings?

The exciting 10-round title rumble is organized by Osaka promoter Takashi Edagawa of Mutsuto Promotions.

May the Best Man Win!
