In the second fight, Mexican Olympian Joselito Velasquez (14-1-0,9KO) beat veteran Gilberto Mendoza (1911-3, 10KO) of San Francisco via a unanimous decision. All scores were 80-72.

Jose Antonio Mesa (9-6-0,2KO) survived a first round knocked down and came back strong to beat Jose Gomez, (12-1-0,5KO) in an exciting fight that ended with all the judges scoring the fight very close, 76-75.

Anthony Dirrell (34-2-, 25 KO) of Flint Michigan won a 4th round KO over Marco Hernandez (15-5-2, 3KO) of Fresno, CA. Time 22 second in round 4.
