Lost amongst the hoopla that surrounded the Los Angeles Media Day at the Wildcard Gym in Hollywood yesterday was a very important item of interest.
It was the birthday of Coach Freddie Roach.
So with this, allow me on behalf of PhilBoxing.com, and all the Pacquiao fans to greet Freddie a belated Happy Birthday!
No one in the group of people who are closest to Freddie Roach would say how old Freddie is. And, we dare not ask such a politically incorrect question to the man himself.
Suffice it to say, that he is in that age range where he can say, -- ?been there and done that?
I would also like to take this opportunity to say ?thank you? to Coach Roach for all his efforts in the past in preparing Pacquiao for his big fights and what he has done and has been doing for the big day on March 15th. Surely, without his help, things would be different.
So once again, to Coach Freddie Roach, from all your Filipino friends, -- ?Mabuhay ka Coach?! May you have many more birthdays to come.
