The World Kickboxing Network returned to Spain this past Saturday (July 13) with the three-fight WKN championship card billed as ?Fight for Glory?. The event presented by Jordi Calvet Guillen took place at the Pabellon de Llefia in Badalona, Catalonia, marking the sixth visit of the leading kickboxing federation to the country this year, following a series of MMARCA and Hombres de Honor MMA events.

In the main event Antonio Campoy of Spain faced Daniel Ghercioiu of Italy. The pair battled it out for WKN European Lightweight Kickboxing title.

The scheduled for five rounds championship bout went the distance. After the all-round spectacular kickboxing action the representative of the country-host was pronounced as the winner by unanimous decision.

As a result, Antonio Campoy, who has previously earned and defended WKN Spanish Lightweight title, added a prestigious European Crown to his collection.

Also on the night Jose Quevedo took on his countryman Khyzer Hayat. The pair contested for WKN Spanish Lightweight title in Muay Thai. The encounter also went a five-round distance. The verdict heard the latter taking the win by unanimous decision.

In addition, Genis Salas met his country-fellow Farah Silva in the WKN Spanish Lightweight Kickboxing championship. The pair as well went head to head during five rounds. The decision from judges pronounced Salas as the winner. Yet, he didn?t feel he deserved it and passed the belt to Silva saying he ?would rather give the belt away than feeling bad about myself [himself]?.

The three-fight championship card followed the undercard featuring a series of bouts in kickboxing and Muay Thai with local and international competitors participating.

WKN European Lightweight Kickboxing title
Antonio Campoy def. Daniel Ghercioiu by unanimous decision

WKN Spanish Lightweight Muay Thai title
Khyzer Hayat def. Jose Quevedo by unanimous decision

WKN Spanish Lightweight Kickboxing title
Farah Silva def. Genis Salas (initially win for Salas by judges decision, who relinquished the belt in favor of Silva)
