After an exciting fight card in Bohol just a couple weeks ago, more thrilling boxing keeps cruising forward in the beautiful and blessed sun-bathed paradise island of the Visayas.

For the coming boxing attraction, Bohol's veteran promoters Edgar Lacierda Ricafort of Jimdomar Boxing and Naris Singwancha of Thailand team up to proudly present to fans "Engkwentro Sa Cogtong II", a competitive five-bout pro boxing show set for Monday, May 27, at the Covered Court of Bohol's most welcoming town, Candijay, 90 Km east of Bohol's capital, Tagbilaran.

In the main feature, coming-forward big-heart brawler John Kenan Villaflor (8-5-3, 2 KO's) of Cebu City by way of Valle Hermoso, Negros Oriental, rumbles experienced veteran Crison "Cowboy" Omayao (24-19-4, 8 KO's), of Valencia, Bukidnon, in a hot ten-chapter battle in the super flyweight division, an action clash that promises fireworks.

Will aggressive warrior Villaflor, 29, deal with the much more experienced "Cowboy" Omayo, a man who has engaged in touch fights in foreign battlefields..?? Will the tested, tough Cowboy, 26, ride into the sunset with an exciting win..??

CO-MAIN: SASAN AND MANINGKIL BATTLE IT OUT AGAIN

In the co-main feature, promising minimumweight Roldan Sasan (7-1, 3 KO's) of Carmen in central Bohol climbs the ring to trade heavy bombardment for a second time against tough Davae?o man of steel Dave Maningkil (5-9-2, 1 KO) in a scheduled 8-rounder melee.

Roldan Sasan (7-1, 3 KO's) of Carmen, Bohol, sees action May 27 in Engkwentro Sa Cogtong II.

The two men already battled it out hot in a thrilling non-stop 2017 war in Talibon, northern Bohol.

In the climax of that first encounter, Roldan stopped Dave in the eighth and final round.

Fans loved that big drama rumble, and the will do it again. It will be the perfect chance for the 27-year-old Dave Maningkil to avenge that loss.

Will the younger Roldan Sasan stop Dave Manigkil again in another crushing knock out win?

Or will a better-prepared Dave Manigkil made good use of his physical and mental strength to shock and defeat Ronald Sasan for a rewarding and truly satisfying victory?

MORE EXCITING UNDERCARDS FOR BOHOL'S "ENGKWENTRO SA COGTONG II"

Well-trained Boholano Super Flyweight Anthony Galigao Ready to Rumble.

In one of the hot undercards, Boholano super flyweight Anthony Galigao -- who hails from the flourishing and charming town of Batuan, the gateway to the world-famous Chocolate Hills -- exchanges fire against fearless Belmar Plaza of Cebu City by way of Lanao del Norte. Galigao (8-13- 3 KO's) and Plaza (4-10-3, 2 KO's) will collide in a scheduled non-title fight in the 105-pound weight class, and may the Best Man Win.

Moreover, Bukidnon super bantamweight Angelito Merin (10-10-3, 4 KO's) trades leather against dangerous Reymond Empic (6-3 2 KO's) of the beautiful coastal town of Dalaguete in southern Cebu. Merin, 29, and Empic, 26, will box in a scheduled eight-stanza war in the 122-pound weight class.

In the first bout of the evening, unbeaten Boholano Jimmybie Cais (2-0, 1 KO) squares off Mindanao warrior Jerry Tabago (1-5, 0 KO's) of Koronadal City, Cobatato del Sur. The two gladiators will rough it up in a six-round battle in the minimum weight division.

Will Jimmybie be able to handle the more experienced Jerry Tabago for a third win in a row? Or will the strong Jerry Tabago welcome Kier into his fighting world with a storm of punishing leather?

The entertaining "Engkwentro Sa Cogtong II" on May 27 in Cogtong, Candijay, eastern Bohol, is an effort of Edgar Lacierda Ricafort of Jimdomar Boxing and veteran man of boxing Naris Singwancha of Thailand in coordination with Candijay's Barangay Captain Hon. Tata Olandria.

The first fight starts at 7 PM.
