Danny Garcia dished out a dominant performance against Andrian Granados Saturday at the Dignity Sports Park in Carson, CA Saturday night (Sunday in Manila) and sent notice to the top dogs in the welterweight division including Shawn Porter who inflicted his last defeated and was in attendance at ringside.

After a feeling out first round, Garcia went to work in the second round by sending Granados to the canvas twice in the round first with a wicked left to the jaw and moments later with a right straight. Granados was out of the fight after that and it was only a question of when he would be stopped. Garcia sent Granados to the canvas again in the fifth with a combination and in the 7th, after trapping Garcia in the ropes seeming unable to defend himself, Referee Thomas Taylor came in to stop the fight.

Garcia shouted ?I'm back? to celebrated his impressive win and called out Manny Pacquiao during the post-fight interview as he was also calling out Porter and Keith Thurman for rematches, the only two fighters who blotted his record with close defeats.

With the win, Garcia has captured the WBC Silver welterweight title and has now improved his record to 35-2-0, 21 KOs. Granados, meanwhile, dropped to 20-7-2, 13KOs.
