BOXERS MAKE WEIGHT FOR EASTER SUNDAY BOXING IN MEDELLIN

CEBU ? Boxing may be experiencing an unusual slumber in Metro Cebu but fight fans outside of the big cities are still expected to troop to the small fight cards held in their towns.
Medellin, a municipality in the northern part of the island of Cebu, will host a four bout fight card this April 21. The protagonists for the four round bouts had their official weigh-in today at the Hotel Fortuna in Cebu City.
Rhonvex Capuloy and Mel Anthony Ando both weighed in at 125 lbs, Kervent Aresco stepped on the scales at 110lbs while Jerry Ambrad was at 103lbs. Aresco will be penalized and will wear 10 oz. gloves; Ambrad is making his pro debut.
Wilbert Rota weighed 140 lbs while Elmer Naason, who will also make his debut, was at 141lbs, Cedie Noblefranca (106lbs) vs Rolly Dorong (104lbs) complete the fight card. The weigh-in was supervised by GAB?s Arlene Olondriz.
The outdoor event will be held at the Medellin Dockside and promoted by Lorenzo Chao Sy.
