LOS ANGELES -- After the playoffs-bound Los Angeles Clippers smoked the Cleveland Cavaliers 132-108 on Sunday at Staples Center, Jordan Clarkson met with the media inside the visitors' locker room.

Among the questions he fielded from reporters representing various news outlets in the Philippines included the lingering doubts on whether or not he will indeed play for Gilas Pilipinas in the upcoming FIBA World Cup this summer in China.

"I'm not sure yet. Stayed tuned," Clarkson replied.

For now, though, the Fil-Am's focus is trained at being a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, a job that he's done exceedingly well this season.

Although the Cavs are headed to the lottery with a dismal 19-58 record, Clarkson's continued improvement as a two-way guard is among the few bright spots. Through 76 games this season, the 26-year old Clarkson is averaging 17 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per.

Against the Clips, who were powered by the 23 points of Montrezl Harrell, Clarkson finished with 26 points in 24 minutes of play. He drilled 11-of-16 field goals and made all four of his free throws. But it wasn't enough as the Clippers ran away in the second half after a close match that ended with a 29-29 standstill in the opening 12 minutes.

Clarkson, who will be become a free agent after the 2019-20 season, is in the third year of a four-year $50 million contract he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2016.
