Part of the advantages of having ringside photo credentials is the ability to capture some worthwhile action photos of important fights set up by the promotions.

The Donaire-Maldonado fight was no different.

The Gary Shaw Promotions and the people responsible for issuing press credentials were so kind enough to issue such credentials to the PhilBoxing representatives, writer JV Tuazon of New Jersey and yours truly, the US-based photographer.

As a result, the Donaire/Maldonado fight was reported on a round by round basis by Tuazon. And, within an hour of the fight ending, the first photos of the fight are already in the hands of the site administrator and editor ready to be published.

Top photo: The Donaire left cross that cause the cut on Maldonado's right cheek.

The Donaire right straight that caused the the cut on the left side of the face of Maldonado.

Thus, PhilBoxing readers received up-to-date reports and photos of the fight.

In addition certain news worthy photos can be published in follow up reports such as this one.

PhilBoxing is pleased to publish two photos (accompanying this story) showing the exact punches that caused the cuts on the left and right side of the face of challenger Maldonado.

Remember, you saw them first on Philboxing.

And, you can thank, the Gary Shaw Promotions and their Promotional outfits for them. The same goes for ShowTime and the Foxwoods Casino Resort.
