Foxwoods Weigh-In Results

Mashantucket, Connecticut -- Today at the weight in held in this town at the world?s largest casino, the Foxwoods Resort Casino, all the headliners for tomorrow?s ShowTime Championship Boxing Event easily made weight on the first try except Vernon Forrest.

Filipino world flyweight champion, Nonito ?Flash? Donaire hit the scales at 111 pounds. and his challenger, Mexican Luis Maldonado came in at the same weight.

Vernon Forrest however failed on his first try. He weigh in at 155 pounds, one pound over the agreed upon weight of 154. Forrest was given two hours to make weight. After half and hour, he came back to the scales but he did not lose enough to make the 154 limit. At this writing, Forrest is still somewhere in the hotel possibly trying to shake off the extra un-wanted weight.

The rest of the weigh in results are as follows:

Antonio Tarver made the 175 limit and his opponent Danny Santiago came it at 174 lbs.

Michele Piccirillo, the opponent of Forrest came it at 152.
