BEIJING, CHINA- Wang Lei of China will go for a rousing professional debut when he goes up against Filipino Anthony Sabalde (12W-7L,7KO?s) this Saturday September 1 at the Zi Space in Beijing.

They will serve as the headliners for SECA?s 100th boxing event. Wang carries with him strong credentials, having been the national amateur champion of China. Sabalde has fought for regional belts with the WBO, WBC and WBF but has lost by unanimous decision in all of his four attempts. In his last outing here in China, he lost a unanimous decision to Wang Zhimin. Sabalde?s cornerman is the highly regarded Brix Flores.

This fight is set for six rounds. During the official weigh-in Friday, Wang weighed 139lbs while Sabalde was at 138 lbs.

There will be six undercard bouts in Saturday?s card featuring all Chinese boxers.

SECA, together with Top Rank, promoted boxing events in Macao in 2013. These shows duplicated the Las Vegas big fight atmosphere. SECA launched a grassroots boxing program in Shanghai in 2015 in the form of a professional boxing tournament , the League of Fists. The winners of their respective divisions were crowned WBO Greater China champions. The series was renamed Major League Boxing and moved to Jinan in 2017. Their 100th show will mark the transfer of the fight series in Beijing. SECA has also promoted big fight cards in other Chinese cities like Urumqi, Dali, Zhongshan and Chongqing.

This back to back weekend show was opened Friday at Zi Space with six bouts - Yeerlan Nuerlanbieke beat Chu Guoqi by unanimous decision after six rounds, Ma Qiang and Zhang Hongpeng battled to a six round split draw, Chen Peng lost to Wu Ju by unanimous verdict, Avzalbek Kuranbaev (Russia) won by unanimous decision against Feng Chao, Xu Zhanfeng beat Lu Peng by TKO in the fourth round, Kuang Zhongyuan vs Tuliegen ended in a majority draw.
