
WUZHATI STOPS PEEPUEH IN JINAN

JINAN, CHINA ? Wuzhati Nuerlang of China immediately established his dominance over Bordin Peepueh of Thailand and decked him twice in the second round.
Peepueh got up but was trapped and battered on the ropes prompting Referee Mekin Sumon to call a halt to the bout at the 1:39 mark.
Wuzhati improves to 11W-1L,9KO?s. He has previously collected two WBO belts ? the WBO Greater China light heavyweight title and the WBO Asia Pacific Youth super middleweight title. In his last fight, he beat Indonesian Alexander Bajawa by unanimous decision in Chongqing. This fight against Peepueh was a non-title contest.
Peepueh suffered his third loss and is now 12W-3L,9KO?s.Peepueh fought under the name Petchbodin Pro Nobnom when he lost to another Chinese boxer, Su Cheng, by unanimous decision in Shanghai last year.
This fight held Saturday served as the main event of a two-day card held at the Maida Sports Arena in Jinan.
For the undercard matches, Zhang Hongpeng knocked down Shayilanbieke Kadeerbieke in the second round and won a narrow split decision. Scores ? Mekin Sumon and Xu Baijun had it 57-56 for Zhang, Song Yu scored it 57-56 for Shayilanbieke.
Saitibathihali beat Lin Wenlong by TKO in round one, Qingjirumu won by split decision over Kang Baolin, Wang Mengmeng got a unanimous verdict over Wang yuchao and Lu He beat Wu Shuai by majority decision.
There were two fights on Friday ? Peng Yong triumphed over Zou Bingcheng after Zou decided not to continue fighting after the third round. Yang Xiaolong trapped An Wanchao on the ropes in the second round and unleashed a barrage of hard punches prompting referee Mekin Sumon to stop the fight at the 1:18 mark.
