FRESNO, CA -- The official weighin of the double world championships Top Rank promoted card got underway Friday afternoon here (early Saturday morning in Manila) at the Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co. with the historic all-Filipino IBF world super flyweight title fight between defending champion Jerwin Ancajas and challenger Jonas Sultan on the main event. In the co-feature bout, Khalid Yafai of the UK will defend his WBA world super flyweight title against David Carmona of Mexico. The fights will be at the Save Mart Center here Saturday night (Sunday morning in Manila).
The official weighin was supervised by Sean Wells of the California Boxing Commission, Rob Scott of the IBF and Ron Pavett of the WBA and hosted by veteran ring announcer Lupe Contreras.
