Indio, CA:- Today just past noon time, Golden Boy Promotions and its partners held the official weigh-in for tomorrow?s fight card here at Fantasy Springs Casino Resort, located south east of Palm Springs, the winter capital of California.

Romero Duno (16-1-0,14 KO) stepped on the scales and registered 134.6 lbs just a shade under the contracted lightweight weight limit.

His opponent, Gilberto Gonzalez (26-4-0, 22KO) of Mexico didn?t do too bad either. He came in at 134.8 lbs.

Thus, tomorrow?s 10 round fight that will be shown via ESPN is on! (ESPN2, 10 p.m. ET and next-day tape on ESPN Deportes at 9 p.m. ET)

The Duno-Gonzalez fight will be featured as the main event.

A win for Duno will catapult the Filipino to a higher ranking and will bring him ever so close to a title fight.

On the other hand, a loss for Gonzalez will mark his second in a row and will sink him deeper in the pits.

Thus, the fight is very significant for both fighters and both of them are promising a win.

We shall see who prevails tomorrow!
