CARSON, CA -- In the co-feature TV fight on Golovkin vs Martirosyan unified middleweight title fight Saturday night (Sunday morning in Manila), undefeated and undisputed woman world welterweight champion Cecilia Braekhus of Norway via Colombia retained his WBC/WBO/IBF/WBA/IBO titles by defeating determined challenger Kali Reis of Rhode Island.
Breakhus (33-0-0, 9KOs) survives a round 7 knockdown to beat Reis (13-7-1, 4KO) by unanimouse decision. Braekhus was also rocked in round 8 but managed to survive as well. Scores: 97-92, 96-91 and 96-91.
