True boxing fans should really commend the Team ALA for the manner they approach the business of boxing. The folks that run the outfit know how to take care of their fighters, thus their business.

Case in point: Jonas Sultan.

Jonas Sultan landed in LA last night. This is his first trip to the USA. Sultan is the mandatory challenger to IBF champion, Jerwin Ancajas.

Early this morning, accompanied by his Coach Edmund Villamor and Philippines? longest reigning boxing world champion, Donnie Nietes, Sultan came in to our offices. Jhay Otamias, a photographer for philboxing.com and GMA Sports, accompanied them.

The reason for his visit?

Sultan came so that we can make him a custom designed, fabricated and fitted mouthguard for his fight versus Ancajas on May 26th at the SaveMart Center at the campus of Fresno State University at Fresno, CA.

Sultan will not be the only one that will use our mouthguards on May 26th.

Jerwin Ancajas, his opponent most probably will also use one that we have made for him just a few months ago for his fight at Corpus Christie, Texas against Israel Gonzalez. Unless of course, Team Ancajas found a better one than the mouthguard we made for him.

So Sultan?s first order of the day leading to his challenge on May 26th is done. All that is needed now is for him to get acclimatized to the funky LA climate this time of the year and complete his training regimen.

He can now spar with the boys at the Wildcard gym and head to the fight with Ancajas knowing that his pearly whites and their surrounding structures will be protected.
