De la Torre (R) and Rota.

Jade Bornea (10-0,7KO?s) of Gen.Santos City and Danrick Sumabong (5-0,4KO?s) of Bohol will risk their unbeaten records when they battle for the vacant WBO Oriental Youth superflyweight title Saturday April 28 in Glan, Saranggani Province.

Bornea, a former member of the Philippine amateur boxing team, won the vacant IBF Youth superflyweight title last year by unanimous decision against Raul Yu of the ALA Gym in a fight held in Gen.Santos City. He defended it once by TKO against Thai Samuthra Sitharan in Polomolok.

As an amateur, Bornea got a bronze in the 2012 AIBA World Youth championships and golds in Asian Youth tournaments. Sumabong will be fighting for a belt for the first time in his career.

Both weighed in at the division limit 115lbs during the official weigh-in held Friday.

Dela Torre sports a 19W-1L-0D, 12KOs record, while opponent Jovany Rota has nine wins (6KOs) and 13 losses. They will serve as the main undercard bout.

Former ALA Gym boxer Mark Bernaldez (15W-1L-0D, 10KOs) will try to shake off the cobwebs of his layoff when he fights JP Macadumpis (11W-11L-1D, 5KOs) in a six rounder.
