WBA World welterweight champion Lucas Martin Matthysee of Trelew, Chubut, Argentina was seen at the Los Angeles Tom Bradley Airport about to check-in for his flight to Manila on PAL PR 103 to attend a prefight press conference together with his challenger Manny Pacquiao in Manila and Kuala Lampur, Malaysia.
Matthysse aka ?La Maquina? was flying with his manager, Mario Arano.
Reports from Jhay Otamias who stood watch at the LAX hoping to get a photo of De La Hoya and Matthysse, indicated that Oscar de la Hoya apparently cancelled and was not at the LAX. No word as to what happen and if De La Hoya will take another flight to Manila.
