ZHONGSHAN, CHINA ? Two WBO Greater China belts were at stake Friday at the Zhongshan Sports Arena.

Xu Da and Li Yu Che fought a fast-paced battle for the vacant WBO Greater China featherweight title. They fought on even terms and a cut on Xu?s left eyebrow in the fifth due to an accidental head clash did not slow down the back and forth action one bit.
The scores ? Mark Leong and Martino Redona ? 76-76, Surat Soikrachang ? 79-73 for Xu. The referee was Atty. Danrex Tapdasan. The title remained vacant and based on the close contest, a rematch should happen.

Wu Rongguo beat Chao Lemen by unanimous decision for the vacant WBO Greater China light flyweight title. Wu landed the harder punches all night and Chao failed to capitalize on his height and reach advantage.

Judges Michelle Ng and Martino Redona had it 79-73, Danrex Tapdsan ? 78-74.

Yilieqiati Nihemaituola (China) dropped Ricky Manufoe (Indonesia) in the fourth round. Referee Surat Soikrachang stopped it the 1:54 mark.

Liu Zhong (China) handily beat Noldi Manakane (Indonesia) by unanimous decision. All three judges had it 60-54. Steven Chau Ying Ho dropped Fok Heng Chao in the opening round and won by split decision. Liwei Huang won by majority decision against Qiang Liu. Jiazhao Li stopped Chuan Dong in the fourth round.

The fights were officiated by the Professional Boxing Commission (PBC) of China and promoted by SECA and Top Rank.
