TAGBILARAN CITY, Philippines ? Local boy Mark 'Magnifico' Magsayo and Shota Hayashi of Japan easily made weight during their official weighin held at the Island City Mall here Friday during the official weighin for their WBO International featherweight championship on the main event of 'Pinoy Pride 43: The Battle in Bohol' scheduled for Saturday at the Bohol Wisdom Gym. The undefeated Magsayo stepped the scales at 126 lbs while Hayashi came in at 125 lbs. WBO vice-president Leon Panoncillo Jr supervised the WBO championship weighin. The referee of the fight is Danrex Tapdasan while the judges are Edward Ligas, Edgar Olalo and Salven Lagumbay.
In the chief support bout, Albert Pagara of the Philippines weighed in at 124.5 lbs while his opponent Mohammed Kambuluta of Tanzania came in at 125 lbs. The fight is scheduled for 10 rounds in the super bantamweight division.
For another 10-round super bantamweight fight, Jeo Santisima of the Philippines stepped the scales at 123 lbs while Kichang Kim of Indonesia weighed in at 120 lbs.
The rest of the weighin was supervised by GAB official Roland Mendoza.
