MELINDO, BUDLER / CASIMERO, SULTAN MAKE IBF SECOND DAY WEIGHIN

CEBU CITY -- Defending IBF junior flyweight champion Milan Melindo of the Philippined weighed in at 117 lbs while his challenger Hekkie Budler of South Africa came in at 114 lbs during their required second day weighin held at the Waterfront Hotel & Casino Saturday morning ahead of their IBF world junior flyweight title fight tonight in the same hotel. IBF rules require the protagonists not to weight more than 10 lbs of their contested weight at the day of the weighin. Melindo was the heavier fighter coming in 9 lbs over the junior flyweight limit while Budler was just 6 lbs over.

For the IBF world super flyweight title eliminator, No. 3 ranked Casimero weighed in at 124 lbs, 9 lbs over, while Sultan stepped the scales at 123 lbs, 8 lbs. over their contested super flyweight world title eliminator bout.
