Las Vegas, Nevada -- As reported yesterday, Recah Trinidad of the Philippine Daily Inquirer had his credentials pulled. The subject became a hot topic and it got print space in a few web sites.

Today the credentials were restored. Thanks in no small way to the head honcho himself, Bob Arum.

Earlier today, at the Media Room, I spotted Trinidad talking to Lee Samuels, the Top Rank executive who takes care of, among many other things, credentials for Top Rank Promotions. Samuels personally accompanied Trinidad up to the area where Magna Media hands out ?press credentials? to get his credentials.

They had a talk with the top people at Magna Media and after the smoke has cleared, Trinidad was given an okay to get his photo taken and a temporary credential was issued to him.

The same goes for Hermie Rivera who had a similar problem.

In the end, both gentlemen got their credentials and all?s well that ends well.
