Time and again we have seen that even for the greatest of all athletes, time will come when one has to dig deep and admit that perhaps the end of a beautiful career has reached its end. It happens to every athlete in every sport. The only difference is where and how.

For the sensational boxer, Senator and Filipino icon, Manny Pacquiao, that time came last Sunday in of all places, Brisbane, Australia, a city were one can find more koalas than boxing events. How it ended was pathetic and it speaks volume about the brutal business of boxing and the many tomfooleries it is known for.

With that I would like to call on our ?Pambansang Kamao? and say:

Mr. Senator, time?s up! Hang those gloves and enjoy the fruits of your labor in good health and with the family. There are far greater things waiting for you.

But before you go, Allow me to say that we are proud and honored you elected to exclusively use our custom-made mouthguards since the year 2001.

We are pleased that we protected your pearly whites pretty well and contributed to the many victories and titles you won. No one can take that away from us!

That may not mean much to many people, but I am sure those who are in the know about the fight business appreciate that. We know you do!

Thank you for the long ride!. It was awesome!

Good luck in whatever you chose to pursue as you end your glorious boxing career.

Good speed, Sir!
