Vic and Froilan Saludar came up with impressive wins in a fight card held Wednesday at the Brgy. Bulua Covered Court in Cagayan de Oro City. “Vicious” Vic inflicted revenge on Powell Balaba, who beat him in 2013 after Saludar was forced to retire on his stool in the fifth due to a fractured hand. Saludar knocked down Balaba in rounds two and three enroute to a six round unanimous decision win.

This is Vic’'s third win since he lost his WBO world title bid to Kosei Tanaka of Japan. He is now 14-2,9KO’s.

Froilan “The Sniper” had no trouble targeting Roque Lauro, dropping him three times in the opening round for a TKO win in one minute and twenty five seconds. Froilan is now 24-2-1,15KO’s. He goes back to the win column after losing to Takuma Inoue in Japan last September. Both Saludars have held WBO regional titles.

Unbeaten prospect Vince Paras stopped Michael Camelion and Garen Diagan had a stoppage win against Jake Amparo in the undercards.

This card was promoted by Kenneth Rontal. IBF world super flyweight champion Jerwin Ancajas was at ringside as the show’s special guest.
