Hard-hitting prospect Romero ?Dynamite? Duno (12W-1L, 11KO?s) of the Sanman Gym of Gen.Santos City will be fighting overseas for the second time on March 10 in California when he is pitted against unbeaten Christian ?Chimpa? Gonzalez (16W-0L,14KO?s) at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles.

The 21 year old Duno, suffered his lone career loss in Russia last year by unanimous decision against Mikhail Alexeev for the vacant WBO Youth super featherweight title. Duno has since bounced back with three straight stoppage wins including a second round KO win over Thai Paiboon Lorkam (Maxsaisai Sithsaithong) for the WBC Asia super featherweight title in Tupi, South Cotabato.

Duno training at the Wild card with former WBC light flyweight champ Rodel Mayol.

Sanman Promotions CEO Jim Claude Manangquil informed philboxing that Duno is now in Freddie Roach?s Wild Card Gym and is trained by former WBC world light flyweight champion Rodel Mayol.

?He spars with Chris Avalos and undefeated Russians in the Wild Card Gym,? Manangquil added.

Avalos is well known to Filipino fight fans because of his scintillating battle against Mark Magsayo last year at the Cebu City Sports Complex which saw Avalos losing by TKO in round six.

The 21 year old Gonzalez, from Buena Park, California, had his first seven pro bouts in Mexico before plying his trade in California. Last June, he beat Filipino Jhon Gemino by unanimous decision.

Three months later, Gemino would score an upset KO win over previously unbeaten Toka Kahn Clary.

Duno vs Gonzalez will be for the vacant WBC Youth Intercontinental lightweight title.

In an e-mail message, Duno stated that, ?I can?t wait for my USA debut on March 10. I train twice as hard for this. I want to upset Gonzalez and make a statement.?
