Mandaue City, Cebu ? Undefeated Cebuano contender Jack 'Jack Sparrow' Tepora stepped the scales at the super bantamweight limit of 122 lbs while his Indonesian opponent Galih Susanto came in a pound under at 121 lbs during the official weighin Thursday afternoon held at the Parkmall Shopping Center here ahead of WBO Oriental super bantamweight championship on the main event of ?Who's Next 3? boxing series Friday night at the Mandaue Cultural & Sports Complex.
Tepora (18-0-0, 12KOs) will try to maintain his unblemished record as he positions himself to challenge the top dogs of the division headed by newly minted WBO champion Jessie Magdaleno of Las Vegas. Susanto, who looked confident during the weighin, will try to derail Tepora and register a big upset over the local favorite.
The Tepora-Susanto weighin was supervised by WBO supervisor Sawaeng Thawekon while the rest of the matchups were supervised by GAB official Roland Mendoza.
