BOCA AND NANTAPECH MAKE WEIGHT FOR IBF REGIONAL TITLE BOUT

Filipino challenger Jeny Boy Boca intends to make a splash in his first overseas outing when he fights Thai IBF Asia flyweight titlist Komgrich Nantapech on September 30 in Bangkok,Thailand.
Komgrich and Boca both weighed at the flyweight limit of 112 lbs during the official weigh-in held today. Sanman Pormotions CEO Jim Claude Manangquil, who is accompanying Boca, informed philboxing of the boxers? weights.
The 22 year old Boca (12W-3L,10KO?s) won his last two fights by unanimous decision against local fighters Michael Rodriguez and Jeffrey Alejandre. Aside from the belt, a boost up the IBF rankings is at stake if Boca wins.
The 27 year old Komgrich a.k.a. Eaktwan BTU Ruaviking (21-3,14KO?s) or Eaktawan Krungthepthonburi lost to Filipino boxers Albert Pagara and Froilan Saludar but has wins against Filipinos Lionel Legada, Jomar Fajardo, and Jay-ar Diama, whom he beat by unanimous decision in Thailand for the IBF Asia title.
