Johnreil 'Road Warrior' Casimero of the Philippines successfully defended his IBF flyweight title by stopping Charlie Edwards of Great Britain in the 10th round at the O2 Arena in England Saturday night (early Sunday morning in Manila) on the undercard of the Gennady Golovkin vs Kell Brook middleweight world title championship.

Casimero (23-3-0, 15KO) was proving to be a monstrous step-up in competition for the upstart Edwards (8-1-0, 3KO) who dominated the Brit the whole night, rocking Edwards with powerful shots as Edwards appeared to be merely holding on.

The end came at 1:57 of the 10th round when Casimero caught Edwards with a huge left hook that sends the Brit to the canvas hard. The referee didn't finish the count after seeing Edwards not fit to continue.
