PH vs MEXICO UNDERCARD BOUTS ANNOUNCED

The undercard fights on the Philippines vs Mexico card on Sep. 24 at the StubHub Center have been disclosed by ALA Promotions with undefeated Pedro Duran of Paramount, California heading the pack.

Duran (14-0-1, 11KO) who saw action in the last ALA Promotions card in San Mateo, CA on July 9 against Filipino journeyman Edgar Gabejan and escaped with a split decision victory, will take on a yet determined opponent.

Fil-Am Joel Siapno (2-1-1, 2KO) of San Leandro, CA will face Isaac Freeman (2-3-1, 2KO) of Los Angeles, CA in a 6-round super welterweight contest.

Fil-Am Ben Garcia of New York will exchange leathers with Limmie Johnson of Bakersfield, CA in 4-round super lightweight contest.

Sebastian Fundura of Orange County, CA takes on Martin Murillo of Los Angeles, CA in a 4 round super welterweight bout,

Jose Gomez of Oxnard, CA will face Abraham Calderon Ruz of Los Angeles, CA in a 4-round super welterweight bout.

The card marks the debut in the flyweight division of the Philippines' longest reigning world champion Donnie 'Ahas' Nietes who fights in the main event against former world champion Edgar Rosas of Mexico for the WBO Inter-Continental flyweight title. Fighting in the supporting main events are Mark 'Magnifico' Magsayo (PH) who takes on Ruben Garcia (MX) for the WBO International featherweight championship and Arthur Villanueva's (PH) grudge rematch with Juan Jimenez (MX) for the WBO Asia Pacific bantamweight championship.
