The three headliners for the ALA Promotions fight card at the StubHub in the City of Carson on September 24th just got into town Saturday night looking eager to showcase their wares before the Los Angeles fight fans.
Former WBO Light Flyweight champion, Donnie Nietes of Murcia, Negros Occidental, heads the trio. Nietes will meet Edgar Sosa of Mexico in his first fight at 112 lbs.
Also in the group is Mark Magsayo, the WBO International Featherweight champion who is scheduled to fight a yet undetermined opponent.
Completing the trio is ?King? Arthur Villanueva who will finish his business with Juan Jimenez of Mexico. Villanueva and Jimenez fought a controversial bout in Bacolod City earlier this year wherein Jimenez was KO?d by an apparent head butt.
Also in the group are the two Villamor brothers, Edmund and Edito, the top trainers of the ALA Boxing Gym.
PhilBoxing?s Jhay Otamias was at the LAX to greet the group and take photos for prosperity?s sake.
Fight fans in Los Angeles are advised to grab their tickets as soon as they are released as this fight will generate lots of attention and tickets will go really fast.
ALA Promotions International in cooperation with ABS-CBN Sports and The Filipino Chanel are putting up this event.
