Gemino.

Jhon Gemino of the Jun Candeza Boxing Gym in Lipa City, Batangas won the WBA Intercontinental Super Bantamweight fight for the vacant title but didn?t get the belt as he was overweight according to a text report from Candeza himself from South Africa.

Gemino scored a sizzling KO in round 9 against Toto Helebe of South Africa at the Emerald Casino on the undercard of the Jack Asis vs Malcolm Klassen IBO Super featherweight title fight.

Candeza sent the following text message:

Gemino last fought in Los Angeles against Golden Boy prot?g? Christian Chimpa Gonzales, a legitimate lightweight. Gemino took Gonzales to the deep waters before he was declared a loser by unaminous decision. For a super bantamweight to do that to a lightweight is amazing.

Editor's Note: Australia based Filipino Jack Asis lost to Malcolm Klassen of South Africa by unanimous decision for the IBO world super featherweight title on the main event.
