Jason 'El Nino' Pagara dished out a dominant performance against Abraham Alvarez of Mexico stopping Alvarez at 55 seconds in the third round with a picture perfect right straight that hit squarely to the jaw of Alvarez as the highly pro-Filipino partisan crowd erupted and chanted Pagara's moniker 'El Nino'. Pagara connected to the head and body of Alvarez in round one and continued scoring in round two with his 1-2 combinations. Pagara, the number 1 ranked junior welterweight in the WBO, has now won his last 12 fights, 9 inside the distance and improved his record to 39 wins, 2 losses with 24 knockouts while Alvarez dropped to 21-10-1.
