BACOLOD CITY, Philippines -- Both WBO defending junior flyweight champion Donnie 'Ahas' Nietes of the Philippines and his challenger Raul 'Rayito' Garcia of Mexico came in at the junior flyweight weight limit of 108 lbs during the official weighin held at the Robinson's Mall here Friday afternoon for their title showdown tomorrow night, Saturday, at the St. La Salle Coliseum here.
Nietes (37-1-4, 21KO), who was born from the nearby town Murcia and is currently the longest reigning world champion in Philippine history, appeared confident and relaxed as his opponent Garcia (38-3-1, 23KO) has promised to end Nietes's dominance of his Mexican opponents.
Third man in the ring for the Nietes-Garcia fight is Celestino Ruiz of Chicago while the judges are Robert Hoyle of Las Vegas, Pinit Prayabsab of Thailand and Mike Fitzgerald of Wisconsin, USA.
The official weighin for the WBO title was supervised by Gino Rodriguez while weighin for the undercard fights were supervised by GAB chairman Ramon Guanzon Jr assisted by Rolando Mendoza.

Melindo was 4 lbs over the contracted weight and was given 2 hours to reduce.
