JONAS SULTAN WINS IN JAPAN

Jonas 'Zorro' Sultan of Cebu's ALA Gym scored a spectacular 2nd round knockout over Tatsuya Ikemizu of Japan during their 8-round scheduled super flyweight bout Sunday night at the Towa Pharmaceutical Ractab Dome in Kadoma, Osaka, Japan (photo).
Sultan, the current Philippine flyweight champion, connected with an overhand right to the head of Ikemizu that flattens the Japanese in the second round, ALA Gym's Edito Villamor informed Philboxing.
Sultan has now improved his record to 10 wins and three loses with six stoppages while Ikemizu suffered his second loss and dropped to 13-2-0, 7KO>
