RESULTS FROM BURBANK, CA: CASEY RAMOS DEFEATS JONATHAN PEREZ

At the Marriott Convention Center in Burbank, CA Saturday night, lightweight Casey Ramos of Austin, TX remains undefeated winning by 8th round technical decision over Jonathan Perez of Barranquilla, Colombia in their 10-round non-title lightweight bout (top photo). Ramos knocked down Perez in the 2nd round but a huge cut on Ramos's right eyebrow forced the contest to be stopped in the 8th round where Ramos won by scores of 80-71 on each of the three judges' scorecard. Ramos is now 22 wins with five knockouts while Perez dropped to 35-14-0, 28KO's.

6 rounds Welterweight
Arnold Barboza Jr (11-0-0, 4KO) of Los Angeles, California wins by unanimous decision over Maximilliano Becerra (8-2-2, 5KO) of Santa Ana, California.


8 rounds Super Featherweight
Guy Robb (18-1-0, 8KO) of Sacramento, California won by TKO over Carlos Padilla (15-3-1, 9KO) of Barranquilla, Colombia. Robb drops Padilla in round 4. Padilla's corner asked referee Raul Caiz Sr to stop fight before round 5 started.


8 rounds Super Featherweight
Miguel Marriaga beats Adones Aguelo in a sleeper of a fight. Marriaga elected not to engage but rather jab and ran. Scores 77-75. 77-75 and 79-73.

Zach Wohlman (9-2-1, 1KO) wins via UD over Lionel Jimenez (2-12-2, 0KO). Scores 40-36,40-36, 39-37.

Joe Louie Lopez (7-0-0, 5KO) stops Liam Vaughn (9-3-0, 2KO). Referee stops the fight after many unreturned punches. Time of stoppage is at 1:17 of round 3.

Miguel Alcantara (2-0-0, 2KO) stops Marco Alcaraz (1-8-0, 0KO) at 1:31 of round 2.

Cesar Hernandez (1-1-0) won by UD over Konstantin Kupiansky (1-1-0, 1KO). Scores: 40-36, 49-36, 38-37.
