ANANEIM, CA -- In Saturday night's main event at the Honda Center, Leo Sta Cruz drops Kiko Martinez two times in round 1 and finally stopped him at 2:09 in round 5 after Referee Raul Caiz Sr waived off the fight after several heavy unanswered punches by Sta Cruz placed Martinez in great trouble.
Santa Cruz retained WBA world super featherweight title and extended his undefeated record to 32 wins with 1 draw while Martinez dropped to 35-7-0, 26KO.
