CEBU CITY ? The boxers of the Omega Boxing Gym had a public sparring session Sunday afternoon in front of appreciative fight fans at the Atrium of Robinson?s Galleria.
Undefeated prospect Jhack Tepora (16W-0L,11KO?s) was featured in the event held to publicize the March 6 fight card which will be held in the same venue. The 22 year old Tepora will be gunning for the vacant WBO Youth Asia Pacific title, sparred with Kenny Demecillo, who last year won the WBA Oceania and WBF International bantamweight belts. Tepora asked the fans for their support and attendance after their well applauded exchange of punches. Winning the belt will enable Tepora to break into the top 15 rankings of the World Boxing Organization and join the list of world title hopefuls.
Also showcasing their skills were the other Omega boxers set to be featured on the March 6 undercards ? Virgelio Silvano, Gerry Castroverde, Allan Villanueva, Royder Lloyd Borbon and Mark Vicelless. Lucky fans got to win products from Omega Sports during the raffle in between fights. Fans also got to have a chance to have photos taken with the prizefighters. The boxing exhibition was hosted by Paolo Varela.
