STARS OF THE FUTURE SM CEBU WORKOUT (PHOTOS)

CEBU CITY -- Featured fighters on 'Pinoy Pride 35: Stars of the Future' headed by undefeated fighters 'Prince' Albert Pagara and Mark 'Magnifico' Magsayo worked out Friday afternoon at activity center of SM City Cebu ahead of next week's fight week culminating on fight night Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Waterfront Hotel & Casino here.

Pagara (25-0-0, 18KO) will take on Nicaraguan Yesner Talavera (15-3-1, 4KO) for the WBO Intercontinental Jr Featherweight championship while Magsayo (12-0-0, 10KO) faces Mexican Eduardo 'Fierita' Montoya (17-4-1, 13KO) for the WBO Youth Featherweight championship.

Also on the card is hot prospect Kevin Jake 'KJ' Cataraja (2-0-0, 2KO) who takes on Mexican Tony Rodriguez (3-1, 1KO) in an 8-round flyweight bout.

The trio of rising prospects believed to snatch the limelight from the headliners also showed their wares during the workout sessions. Undefeated 20-year-old Melvin 'Gringo' Jersualem (8-0-0, 7KO) of Bukidnon, will take on former world champion Florante Condes (27-9-1, 23KO); 19-year-old Jeo Santisima (8-2-0, 7KO) of Masbate will face slugger Marco 'Singwancha' Demecillo (21-4-1, 16KO) of Iligan City in an 8-round super bantamweight bout and 19-year-old Elmo 'Bisdak' Traya (10-1-0, 8KO) of Mandaue City will take on Romeo 'Jako' Jakosalem (16-11-1, 6KO) of Davao City in an 8-round super lightweight bout.
