HOLLY HOLM KO?S RONDA ROUSEY

They say all good things must come to an end. For UFC Champion Ronda Rousey who blew off most of her opponents in under two rounds, oftentimes in under one, the end came tonight on UFC 193 at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia and shown on PPV.

Facing an opponent who herself was a great MMA fighter but a big underdog, Rousey for some strange reason was not herself tonight.

Rousey tried in vain to close the gap between her and her opponent so she can take Holm to the ground and hopefully apply her patented arm-bar. But hard as she tried, Holmes always managed to get away and keep the fight upright.

Rousey lasted under two rounds. The end came via a high kick to the lower face-neck area that span Rousey and dropped her to the canvas. Before referee Herb Dean can move in, Holm rapidly rushed the fallen Rousey and delivered the finishing touches, forcing Dean to wave off the short fight.

With the victory Holly Holm grabbed the UFC bantamweight belts of Ronda Rousey.

On a side note: I wonder what Foyd is going to say now against the ex-champion who called him out. What say you, Floyd?
