Wynn?s Casino Resort, Las Vegas, NV -- For all what Brandon Rios has been saying in the past weeks regarding the importance of his fight against Tim Bradley tomorrow at the Thomas and Mack Center in this city, nothing really mattered as today at the weighin held at this Casino Resort, he came in .2 pounds over the 147 lbs contracted weight in his birthday suit. Bradley easily made the weight at 146 lbs.

Hey, .2 lbs is not much to lose and I am sure within the stipulated one hour to lose the excess weight, Rios will come in good.

But for a veteran fighter coming in overweight is very disappointing. It tells me that he was not well prepared for the fight.

Where is the well-known Robert Garcia discipline and focus? What happened there?

Pundits say, coming slightly overweight is not uncommon. Many great fighters sometimes do. It may not be totally their fault but still, it shows what transpired in the training camp. And, it does not speak well of the fighter and the trainer. Sad!
