PINOY PRIDE 33 LATINO FIGHTERS WORK OUT AT FORTUNE GYM (PHOTOS AND VIDEO)

LOS ANGELES -- The Latino quartet matched against Filipinos who will see action this coming Saturday (Sunday in Manila) at the StubHub Center in Carson, CA in the 33rd edition of 'Pinoy Pride' dubbed as 'Philippines vs The World', worked out Wednesday afternoon at the Fortune Gym along the famous Sunset Blvd in Hollywood.

The four looked fit and declared their readiness for Saturday's show and each promised to win their respective bouts. They will face in person their Filipino opponents the first time during tomorrow's (Thursday) press conference at Carson Civic Center starting at 11 a.m.






WBO No. 8 junior flyweight contender Juan 'Pinky' Alejo of Mexico (photo and video) who will challenge long time Filipino world champion Donnie 'Ahas' Nietes, did the mitts with his trainer, skipped ropes, punched the heavy bag and posed for photos for the media in a show .


William 'Chirizo' Gonzalez of Nicaragua strikes a pose at the Fortune Gym. Gonzalez (27-5-0, 23KO) will face undefeated 'Prince' Albert Pagara for the vacant WBO Intercontinental junior featherweight title scheduled for 10 rounds.


Yardley Suarez of Mexico poses at the Fortune Gym Wednesday. The undefeated Suarez (13-0-0, 8KO) will face equally undefeated Mark 'Magnifico' Magsayo for Magsayo's IBF Youth featherweight title scheduled for 10 rounds.
