JOSE FELIX JR DEFEATS MARCOS JIMENEZ; COMPLETE RESULTS FROM STUDIO CITY, CA

STUDIO CITY, CA -- Lightweight contender Jose Felix Jr (31-1-1, 24KO) of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico won by unanimous decision over Marcos Leonardo Jimenez (26-6-0, 20KO) of Dominican Republic during the Top Rank Promotions / @UnimasTV boxing event at the Sportsman's Lodge Saturday night. Felix and Jimenez exchanged knockdowns in the first round while Jimenez was deducted a point in the 6th round for low blows. Scores were 96-93, 95-94 and 95-94 in favor of Felix Jr.

Below are the results of the undercard fights:

5th bout: Trevor McCumby (20-0-0, 16KO) of Glendale, Arizona drops Brian Holstein (10-3-0, 2KO) of Ohio three times in round 1 and stops him at 2:52 of the round of their 8-round cruiserweight bout.


3rd bout: Pedro Duran (12-0-0, 9KP) of Paramount, CA knocked out Erick Orozco (5-3-2, 2KO) of Tijuana, Mexico. Time: 1:32 of round 6 of their 6-round super featherweigh bout. Fight was the first fight shown on Solo Boxeo Tecate Unimas TV.


2nd bout: Oleksandr Gvodzyk (7-0-0, 5KO) of Kharkov, Ukraine beats Francisco Sierra (27-9-1, 24KO) of Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico. Referee stops the fight before start of round 6 of their 8-round cruiserweight bout.


1st bout: Lenny Zappavigna (34-2-0, 24KO) of Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia beats Ramon Ayala (23-5-1, 11KO) of Tlaxcala, Mexico. The referee stops the fight at 2:40 of the sixth round of their 8-round welterweight bout.

In the remaining fights:

Urmay Ruskeldiev made Yosmsni Abreu quit on his stool at end of round 4; Garrity McOsker win debut by unanimous decision over Jeramie Huber with scores of 40-36 from the three judges and Erwin Sandoval won by UD over Stephon McIntyre with scores of 39-37 40-36 and 40-36.
