
SHAWN PORTER SOLVES 'THE PROBLEM' BRONER, WINS BY UD

LAS VEGAS -- In the main event of Saturday's Premier Boxing Champions boxing show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Shawn 'Showtime' Porter of Akron, Ohio, won by unanimous decision over Adrien 'The Problem' Broner. Broner dropped Porter in the 12th but it was not enough as the judges favored Porter with scores of 114-112, 115-111, 118-108. Porter improved his record to 26-1-1 with 16 knockouts while Broner absorbed the second loss of his career and dropped to 30-2-0 with 22 knockouts.
Broner drops Porter in the last round but not enough for 'The Problem' to win the fight.
Undercard results:
Terrel Gausha of Cleveland OH (15-0-0, 8KO) dropped Luis Grajeda of Chihuahua, MX (18-5-2, 14KO) in round 3 and went on to win via unanimous decision. Scores were 78-73, 79-72 and 79-72 in favor of Gausha.
Ex US Olympian Errol Spence Jr of DeSoto Texas stayed unbeaten at 17-0-0, 14KO winning via a 3rd round TKO over late substitute Phil Lo Greco of Toronto, Canada (26-2,1, 14KO).
Kevin Newmann of Las Vegas (3-0-1, 1KO) won via UD over Bobby McIntyre of Tacoma, WA (0-2-0). Scores were all 40-36 for Newmann.
Sanjarbek Rakhmanov of Andijon, Uzbekistan (pro Debut) scored a KO over Brett Simmons of Cleveland, OH (2-2-2,1KO). Time 1:21 rd 1.
