PREMIER BOXING CHAMPIONS SHOWCASE ITS ELITE FIGHTERS

MGM Grand, Las Vegas:- The invitation came via e-mail from Andrew Roberts of PBC. It simply stated ?you are invited? to join PBC?s boxing superstars at the Media Tent for lunch and conversation.

True enough, and right on cue, the PBC publicists started ushering some well known fighters to the Tent and sat them on assigned round tables for the media folks to talk to and have photos taken.

First to walk in was Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. He came in with his wife and daughter and with trainer Robert Garcia not far behind.

Then Paulie Maglinaggi came in sporting a new crew cut and earring on his right ear.

Of course, as usual he was a chatterbox and the media folks had a feast talking to him.

Next up were the Charlo brothers, Jermell and Jermall. They appeared shy and just kept to themselves enjoying the nice buffet provided by PBC.

A giant of a man walked in first. Hard not to spot a very tall guy in bright red t-shirt.

He is heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder. Wilder is surprising soft spoken but very respectful.

Super Bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz walked in next. Compared to Wilder, he is a puny little guy. But as they said, don?t get carried away by his small frame. The guy is an excellent fighter and a heavy hitter.

Welterweight champ Keith Thurman was up next. He came in sporting his famous hair style with a bun at the back and looking tremendously in shape.

Last to came in was Daniel Jacobs. But he made up for it. The guy came in the best dressed ever

The meeting of the fighters with the media was as good as it can get. It was very informal but very intimate.
