LAS VEGAS--Undefeated Filipino boxers Rey 'Boom Boom' Bautista and AJ 'Bazooka' Banal are scheduled to arrive in the Philippines on Thursday morning, and are expected to receive warm welcome from fans all over the country.

The duo will be accompanied in their trip by their chief handler Antonio L. Aldeguer, manager Michael Aldeguer and wife Christine, Filipino promoter Sammy 'Don King' Gello-ani and trainer Edito Villamor.

The duo will take part in the hugely popular Wowowee of ABS-CBN on that day, and on Friday, will face the media in a special press conference at the Cebu City Marriott Hotel.

After the press conference, Bautista will then take a Weesam trip to Tagbilaran City, where Mayor Dan Neri Lim will lead a red-carpet welcome for the ALA boy.

"I am just too happy to be back home. I miss my mother, father and siblings. I just want to rest," said Bautista minutes ago in an interview at the Las Vegas residence of his cutman Tony Martin and wife Yvonne, where the couple hosted a dinner for the Aldeguer family, friends and the Filipino media.
