Ontario CA: Budding promoter Premiere Boxing Champions (PBC) held its second promotions tonight at the Citizens Bank Arena in this fast raising city some 30 miles east of Los Angeles. Needless to say, it was not too shabby.

The event was a miniature copy of Haymon?s inaugural presentation last week at the MGM Arena in Las Vegas. The CBA was configured exactly the same as the MGM complete with the circular LED lights above the ring and the MMA style boxer?s entry to the ring.

The attendance was more than average; in fact the Arena was almost full. Haymon and his associates without doubt know how to promote a fight and it would not be a surprise if they will very soon be a major player in the boxing promotion business.

Only one thing was sorely missed. The ring girls and the excitement they bring to the crowd.

Porter drops Bone.

In the first televised fight via Spike TV Shawn Porter of Akron, Ohio (25-1-1, 16 KO) dropped late substitute Erick Bone of Manabi, Ecuador (16-2-0,8KO) in round four with a vicious right hand. Bone survived the round but in the following round Porter went after him with several punches that carried bad intentions and eventually dropped Bone again leaving the referee no choice but stop the fight. Time was 2:30 of round 5

Arreola downs Harper.

In the second TV fight, local favorite, heavyweight Cris Arreola of Riverside, CA 36-40-, 31 KO) started rapidly and knockdown Curtis Harper of Jacksonville, Fl (12-4-0-8KO)
in round 1 but had to settle with a close unanimous decision ( 76-75,78-73,77-74). Harper gave Arreola all he can take many times landing what seem to be haymakers that Arreola shook off. It was a fight that was enjoyed by the crowd judging from the arousing ovation they gave after each round.

In the main event, Andre Berto of Winter Haven, Fl via Haiti (30-5-0, 23 KO) was involved in a phone booth battle with another local favorite, Josesito Lopez of Riverside (33-7-19,KO). The two engaged in a see-saw battle engaging each other every round to the delight of the crowd with cheered every time Lopez appears to be on top. But to their dismay, their boy was knockdown with a series of solid hits early in round 6th. After the referee allowed the fight to continue, Berto took advantage of the situation and did not allow Lopez to regain his composure, dropping him again with powerful combinations leading the referee to wave off the fight to allow Lopez to fight another day. Lopez was disappointed but he did not protest the referee?s actions. He simply knew he has had it for the night.

Other Results:

In the curtain raiser, Tugstsogt Nyambayar of Ulaanbattal, Mongolia who was making his pro debut opened up with fireworks knocking out Gabriel Braxton (2-9-0-1KO) of Richmond. VA at 2:10 of round 1.

The second bout went the distance however with Lanell Bellows of Las Vegas (11-1-1,7KO) scoring a UD over Juan Carlos Rojas of Satillo, MX (7-10-1, 5KO)

Oscar Molina of Norwalk, CA) 11-0-0,9KO) scored a knockout over Jose Leal of Guadalajara, MX (9-7-1, 4KO) Time was 2:15 round 5.

Hansel Martinez of Tijuana. MX (21-2-0-17) won a hard fought UD over veteran German Maras of Agua Prieta, MX (46-33-1 (26)
